Dr. Donna Kirkpatrick Pinson
Dr. Kirkpatrick Pinson is an Assistant Professor of Counseling and Human Services at National Louis University. Prior to this appointment, she served as adjunct faculty in the Northern Illinois University Counseling Program and as a professional school counselor at Byron Middle School. She is the past President of the Illinois Association for Adult Development and Aging and continues her leadership as the Division's Secretary.
In 2010 Dr. Kirkpatrick Pinson was named Illinois Middle School Counselor of the Year by the Illinois School Counselor Association. From 2011 to 2013 she was an editorial board member of the Journal of Counseling in Illinois. Kirkpatrick Pinson received her Ed.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision (CACREP), as well as a MS in Counseling - School and Community Agency (CACREP), and a MS in Education Administration from Northern Illinois University and a MS in Communication and BA in English from Fort Hays State University.
